I hope this message finds you well.I live in Malta and I am a very big fan of Sony Ericsson, I own a Sony Vaio Laptop and also I will soon be buying a Sony Ericsson mobile. I would like to ask you one question which I have been wanting to ask an international representative of Sony Ericsson or else if it could be passed on to any international Management. I sadly fail to understand why there isn't a main head quarters here in MALTA? Basically many sony ericsson products are imported to Malta by many different mobile outlets and there is no certain shop that is the main or sole importer of Sony Ericsson. Therefore this causes other problems for example since also we do not have a head quarters and offices of Sony Ericsson here in Malta, if a person has a technical problem with his mobile that he has bought he will have to send his mobile to be repaired abroad which is a big hassle and may incur higher costs! I see that Sony Ericsson are at a disadvantage that Sony Ericsson is not set up in Malta because with many problems that a customer may have when and after purchasing a Sony Ericsson mobile that it will cause many people not to buy one. Therefore I would strongly recommened if it could be possible if this could please be discussed in some way or another? Although Malta is a small country it still deserves the same opportunities as other Sony Ericsson customers in other countries and also Malta is known for a very highly populated country with a majority of the people owning a mobile phone.

What I would recommend before purchase is to contact customer care and find out what your warranty options are. This varies from country to country. They will be able to inform you what your options are after purchase that way you know what you are dealing with before you buy.

Yes but I have heard that in order to fix a product you would have send it to another country so that it could get repaired , just like what happened to my Sony Laptop, i had to send it abroad to be fixed since they do not send parts to Malta.
