The Top Metal Songs of the Decade are mosh-pit worthy. Three of the 'Big Four' of thrash metal (Slayer, Megadeth, and Metallica) made the list,
Slipknot Rolling Stone polled musicians and their staff about what they thought the Top 25 Albums and Songs of the 2000's were and Slipknot made it onto a few of the lists. Iowa made it onto Tom Morello's list of Top Albums at spot number 18. Lars Ulrich showed Slipknot some love as well listing Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses ...in the number 7 spot for Best Albums and picking "Duality" as his number 9 for Best Songs.
