Hey I'm Zach and I love to make music, so much that I made this page to show the world. I've been playing guitar for almost two years (next february 22). I was in my first band as a singer, before I even played guitar, in a band originally called Sitting In Silence. I t...hought of the name and we all liked it. When we first had our first practice we were all good, except for me. It was my first ever singing and I was way out of wack, but I didn't let that stop me. I kept working at it and working at it untill I got I carry a tune. I know I'm still not perfect. Sitting In Silence eventually changed their name to AZK which was named by our drummer Aric. We made some changes and I ended up playing bass and our guitarist, Kyler, was the singer. We made two songs called Faint and Sick and Tired. I wrote Faint. Kyler wrote Sick and tired. we split up 4 months later with little progress done. I later joined another band now called The Bind which started with 4 members now has only 3. We had alot of preivious names. Blind Fury ( hahaha), Obsidian and some others that I can't remember at first. Our first song was called Chains thats the same song as Faint I just changed the chourus and made a whole new song!! We sucked so bad. We had practice about once every other week, and eventually we were almost amerature, but not quite. I was the singer (I was still bad) and lead guitar. Evan played guitar and Christian plays drums (our other member, Trent, who is no longer with us played bass). We made about 4 real songs until we played the school talent show. We couldn't decide which song we wanted to do. At first we were going to play Proud Mary by CCR, then we wanted to do Seven Nation Army by The white Stripes, Then Wonderwall. But we finally decided on doing Chains and I felt comfortable singing too becasue I kept practicing. We were so nervous when we went to audition. Well at least I was. I was really shaky and stuff. But once we got out there we played pretty good, better than I thought we would. We made the show. Then came the big night, we brought all our gear (Oh my goodness I'm getting excited just remmbering it haha) to school at after school. We were one of the last preformances up and we were so nervous. My heart was racing my legs felt like jell-o. and when we opened up the curtains there was everyone all 280 of them. Staring at us. Once we got all set up and began to play everyone got quiet (well I don't know how true this was becasue the audiance was washed out by drums) but during Evans solo everyone went crazy...kind of, at least they cheered. It was awsome one of the best feelings ever. Everyone is watching you wanting more, It's great! When we finished our song everyone cheered and to me I did't hear anything I was too busy soaking up the fame. Just me and my band, we played our best and earned it. AZK got back together but isn't really a "band". The Bind even better than ever! We just finished our first album and is now recording it. There is a total of six songs on our album and will be releasing it by early next year.
