Microsoft patterns & practices Summit Who should we get to keynote the next p&p Summit?
Microsoft patterns & practices Summit Also, a big thanks to Brad Abrams for stepping in at the last minute and doing RIA Services to cover for a speaker medical emergency.
Microsoft patterns & practices Summit Results are in and ScottGu was the highest rated speaker, Steve Riley's Security talk the highest rated session, and - this was unexpected - the party at the Spot Off Main in Bellevue was the highest rated reception in 7 years of Summits! Higher than a harbor cruise in Oslo. Higher than the MIT Museum. Maybe it was the Rock Band? Or Monday Night Football? For me it was the Cougar Gold Mac-n-Cheese!
Microsoft patterns & practices Summit Followup - We also recorded Doug Seven yesterday demoing Architecture and Test features of VSTS 2010 - will also get that out soon.
Microsoft patterns & practices Summit We're 1/2 way through the Summit, and (knock on wood) everything is going well. We are capturing p&p team sessions for publishing after.

Doug Seven's doing a lunch-time demo of VSTS 2010 features at the Summit, and we're doing a survey to see what attendees (and fans - we'll post the recording afterwards!) want to hear about:
1. Architecture Tooling (new tools for modeling, architectural compliance and code understanding)
2. Testing (new tools for test ca...se management)
3. UI Test Automation (new capabilities for creating and running UI test automation)
4. No More ‘No Repro’ (improving collaboration between developers and testers)
5. Team Foundation Server (new capabilities including gated check-in)
6. Test-Driven Development (new capabilities)
